For the most part, body shops have agreements with local insurance agents to capture their business when one of their clients get in an accident. This way they have a body shop to send their vehicle to. Most people think you have to take your vehicle to the shop the insurance company uses. But that is simply not correct! You cant take your vehicle to any body shop you would like. But there are some advantages and disadvantages to both side of the argument.
