The school year is getting close to being over, which means graduation is coming up. With graduation getting closer and closer, maybe you would like to get your graduate a car as their graduation gift. Graduation is a big accomplishment and should be rewarded for. This could be for graduating high school or college. Most likely it will be for someone who has recently graduated from high school. Recent graduates will most likely be in the age range of 17-22. That will cover both graduates from high school and college.
Chevrolet makes a variety of cars that would be perfect for a recent graduate. These graduates are still young, so it is important to not get something with too much value. You want to get them in a dependable, affordable, and safe vehicle that will last a long time. After high school, most likely they will be going off to college and the parents are going to want to get their child something that they know they won’t have to worry about while they are away from home. Less worry for the parent, the better.
We will start with the less expensive models first and work our way up.
The Chevrolet Trax is the replacement for the Chevrolet Cruze. With the shift in market to SUVs in recent years. The Trax is a small SUV that comes with a great price tag. Most often, the MSRP of a new Trax is in the low $20,000s. At any given time at Poage Chevrolet, you can find one for around $16,000. That is an unbelievable price for a new car. Of course, there are many different trim levels to choose from, so obviously when you choose the higher trim level, you get more options and the price will increase. The Trax gets a combined 28 mpg. This would be a great car to give your recent graduate. To view our inventory of Trax, click here.
